For many years now, NDL has been privileged to take care of most of the town and parish council Christmas trees across the Isle of Wight. We handle most sizes from 6ft (1.8m) to 25ft (7.5m) and above.

How it works

You supply the tree. Most of our customers order theirs from Shide Trees. We collect the tree and deliver it to your chosen location. We then install it and dress it with your lights or lights you can hire from us.
If anything happens to the tree, damage or vandalism, call us and we'll rush over to sort it (charges apply).
After Christmas, we'll come and remove  the tree. And, if you like, we can store your lights for you in our warehouse until next year!

How to proceed

You will need to have an installation point (a pipe in the ground) and power supply.  If you don't, contact us first to discuss as we can install as needed. Then, fill in the form below, giving as much detail as necessary, and we'll send you a quote. Once approved we'll confirm your order and generate an invoice. We don't need a deposit but do require the invoice to be settled upon installation of the tree.

Lights

The lights we use are a pro-range LED specially designed to withstand the extra stresses of use on large trees and displays. Because of the size of the average tree we fit (in excess of 20ft) the tree moves a lot more in the wind and standard led strings will just get torn apart. 

Being LED you do not have the worry and hassle of traditional filament bulb outdoor fairy lights. If one LED fails, it will not affect the rest in the string and the LEDs are covered with a plastic cap which will not smash in the wind as glass ones can.

Our Pro Series lights offer complete flexibility and great durability. This modular lighting system can be added to year on year depending on your requirements. While LEDs are smaller than traditional glass filament bulb lights they are super bright, meaning they pack a lot of sparkle for their size! Ice White is a super bright colour of LED and is a very popular colour of outdoor lights for commercial applications

How many lights do I need?

All our lights come in 10 metre sections with 100 LEDs per section. For an average 15-20ft tree, 20 sets of 10 metres is the bare minimum, giving you around 2000 bulbs. If your tree is wider than average, even this may not be enough. The manufacturers recommend for a 20ft tree: 2500 bulbs for Standard Sparkle, 3000 bulbs for Extra Sparkle and 3500 bulbs for Super Sparkle.

Colours & functions

We can supply lights in ice white, warm white, multi coloured and blue. See below for some examples. 
Lights can either be static (do not flash) or sparkling effect (every 10th bulb flashes).

Renting lights

We have a limited stock of LED strings in stock for hire. Some of these are now a few years old and while still working perfectly fine, LEDs do get dimmer over the years so they are not as bright as new ones. That said, hiring lights will make a substantial saving over buying them. But get your order in quickly as it will be on a first come, first served basis.
